Great effort from the squad on Wednesday evening!!
Not ideal weather but great graft making a big debt in our pursuit of the perfect mulch path through the conservation area in London Fields!!
Welcoming Piers for his first GoodGym session and Vinny getting ever so close to 50 GoodDeeds!
Grabbing the Wheelbarrows and shovels from the from the pavilion and heading across the park to the mulch pile. where we got into perfect sync with piling the mulch high before a speedy barrow run 400 metres there and back to the pathway.
50 loads of mulch and the pathway quadrupled in size! Will keep more people on the pathway when they visit and hopefully make it a more inviting exploring route. Great to protect the vegetation and ecosystem that lives just off the main path so the area can thrive year round!
Quality work team!!

4 GoodGymers Plogged there way along the Hackney section of the Regents Canal.
Head torches, bags, litter pickers, gloves and a smile was all we needed as we headed off to clear as much rubbish away from the Regents Canal tow path!
Aiming to reduce the contaminants that get into the canals ecosystem to help it to thrive as well as making a safer more enjoyable route for all the walkers, runners and cyclists to use as they navigate through the Borough.
A potential celebrity sighting (undone by head torch glare). Lots of very encouraging and thankful comments in great company with some fun chats in luckily lovely weather (for February) made for a quality time which was super productive grabbing 4 big bags full of rubbish!
Enjoyed the task and look forward to doing it again!!

7 GoodGymers helped sort and give a truck load if essentials to Westminster's homeless community.
Great to be helping Get Rid Of And Donate in 2024 and their amazing work with the Capitals vulnerable communities. After meeting at Green Park, 4 if the group ran 2k to make our way over to Charing Cross and meet the rest of the crew.
Andrea was there and we got cracking! Setting out all the big warm clothing, bedding, shoes and coats ready for those that need to take. Off the back of the van bags, sleeping bags, ground mats and sleeping bag insulation was given out.
A hectic but impactful for so many task to really help those in need of a little help as we move through the Winter weather.
60 minutes and the donations were taken to new owners before we ran off into the night with a task complete.

Vinney White earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Vinney completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Vinney was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Great turn out to help Get Rid of and Donate charity tonight!
Amazing to have a big group of Students come along to help with the clothes distribution efforts!
Running down from Green Park to Charing Cross to meet the van. Creating a long line along the railings in pods where we helped the community to find the items they needed.
we had blankets, toiletries, trousers, coats, jumpers and socks all ready to go. Then out of the back of the van we handed out big bags, suitcases, sleeping bags, tents and a few pairs of shoes.
An all action hour which made a huge impact! Hope to see you again very soon!
