Goodgymers met today on a lovely sunny day to help out at Windmill Hill City Farm!
Three tasks were carried out today- scouting out bindweeds in the bushes and pulling these out, bagging manure and placing this out at the front of the farm in order to be sold and then finally, sweeping hay up and placing this in the compost.
Was lovely to see everyone and have a chat!
Have a good weekend all!

A dry morning welcomed David and Caroline at the farm today. We focused our efforts on the manure bagging with the fate coming this weekend. We filled 6 hearty bags and barrowed them to the front for storage and public access. Time to say good bye to hazey and daisy? the resident bovine friends who produce the manure. Off we went. The rain kept off as we gathered under the suspension bridge. The tide was high but we did not want to go home. Armed with pickers we made great progress clearing the grassy verges and the sidewalk. Finds of the day were a very small plastic dog, a paddle and funnel. We gathered the rubbish near the collection area. Then off to the garden centre cafe to sample the lovely home made food. A great morning with amazing GG and Mark to really help keep this iconic area clean. š
