Sunday 12th May
Sooz completed 25 good deeds with GoodGym.
Sooz has already done 25 good deeds with GoodGym. Instead of doing anything else, they've used their run to go and help people that need their help; digging, lifting, scraping, clearing, planting and weeding. Stuff that makes this a better place to be.

GoodGymmers helped 35 Hackney youngsters to run junior parkrun this morning. There were a massive 16 personal bests from the kids, all helped as always by some super marshalling from the volunteers in the East London sunshine.

It was a wet Sunday morning so it was great to see a bunch of eager volunteers down at London Fields.
First timer to London Fields juniors, Rupert, made the critical Timekeeper task look easy, tracking all 20 budding young runners round the 2 loop 2km course at London Fields.
In less than half an hour, every youngster had made it round and the cheering coming from the finish line helped spur them on!
Rupert and Sooz made light work of packing away and soon junior parkrun was complete for another Sunday.
Hope to see many more GoodGymmers down next week!

Eight awesome GoodGymmers got down to Hackney City Farm for some forking, shovelling, digging and shifting as we moved compost across the farm.
The farm is re-building one of its composting areas with some colourful new pallets so we needed to re-site the compost before the next task: building the new composter!
Huge props to Alicia for coming down to her first session and getting properly stuck in!!
Jacqui, Lucy, Alicia and Alice got started on the digging and loading; Sooz and John heading back and forth with the barrows, whilst Emre and Dan got on with re-siting the compost.
Massive team effort, and we’re now more than halfway through the re-siting and the compost is looking gooood!
