**Yesterday evening we carried out a leaflet drop around the local area for Woking & Sam Beare Hospice & Wellbeing Care to highlight "Go Grab Life Work" A memory walk & celebration whilst raising funds for hospice care.
It was a beautiful evening š Wayne, Kirsty, Katie, Julie, & Adam all met at Woking leisure centre.
It was great seeing Adam back as well. Katie had run 6k from home while Wayne, & Adam ran 12k between them.
We headed off to the dreaded hill at the back of the park we split up into two teams and started at the bottom and targeted them letterboxes. In no time we had got to the top of the hill minus 50 leaflets.
We then hit a few of the side roads, before coming down the second hill. by the time we had got to bottom we were down to our last few leaflets.
We headed back to the leisure centre hitting a few houses on route.
Good luck to Adam who is doing the Battersea Half on Saturday & then the Richmond Half on Sunday. šāāļø
Next Wednesday we are at the Food Bank carrying out a deep clean. Hope to see you there. š

All ABOARD
This morning Wayne, Kirsty, & Nadia headed to Brookwood to help the All Aboard Club build a giant train track for neurodiverse children to play and interact with š.
We met Richard and a few young volunteers who were also helping out. The beauty of this task is there are no instructions its just build a track, and every time its always different š.
Nadia joined us for her 2nd task within a week which is fantastic. This was Kirsty & Wayne 2nd time to get involved with this amazing task.
There were plenty of bridges and signal crossings as well as the dreaded engineering works. š¤£. Within the hour we had created an amazing track just in time for the arrival of the first kids. Seeing the smiles on their faces was amazing.
Keep a look out for some up and coming tasks and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Welcome
A big welcome to Nadia who joined us on her first goodgym task, it was great having you Nadia hope its the first of many. šš¼āāļø
Congratulations
A big well done to our very own Becky who completed the London Marathon over the weekend. Becky has been training incredibly hard during the build up cant wait to see the medal š„
6 Goodgym members met up at the RSPCA this evening before we started we welcomed Nadia to her first session. Katie & Julie arrived first while we were waiting for the rest of the team we stretched our legs by running around the horse paddock. As we finished we saw Kirsty arrive Nadia was introduced and off we went to the dog agility compound. We gathered our tools from the shed and got stuck in. Kirsty & Katie started on the left side of the fencing while Wayne, Nadia, & Julie headed to the right side. In no time we were half way around. Lauren arrived straight from her fitness class. We started talking about Becky's London Marathon & after watching it on telly inspired Lauren & Lauren to register for next years race.
The sun was setting so we finished off emptied the bags of the brambles and headed back to the car park. Here we said our goodbyes and headed home.
This Sunday we have Junior Park Run & also building a big train set for SEN children in Brookwood.
See you all soon.
