It really was all "Action" at the Church

Southampton Report written by Wilson

Shirley Warren Action Church has a large garden which has become a little overgrown, Sarah and Wilson spent a lovely couple of hours with Lynette, a church member, weeding and clearing - in a short space of time 5 big green bags were filled. We found all sorts of toys which had come across the fence from the nursery 🐅🥇🏅🐱‍🐉 . It was a satisfying task as we could see we had made a difference. We also got to see some of Will Rosies bigger mosaics! We have booked in to visit again next month on a Monday :)

What a load of balls!

Southampton Report written by Lauren

Dried off from flyering we were joined by six other goodgymers for an indoor session as the weather was too treacherous for goat mountain escapades.

It was lovely to also welcome Bethan for the first time this evening!

We were tasked with doing something very unique this evening, making seed bombs out of clay, mud and soil for the farm to distribute at a community event.

A small group ventured into the woods to retrieve some soil before heading in. We then had to remove twigs and worms from the soil before mixing the soil with clay and water and eventually the seeds.

We then rolled these into small ping pong sized balls before removing them for safe keeping.

We were tasked with making 60 but Abby counted 217!!

Definitely a unique task and we were even rewarded with cake 🍰
